Sea World Reviews

Everyone reviews differently, sees things from a different way. And there's no difference when we are talking about what people think of Sea World.

My general thoughts on Sea World are in these pages, but I though that I should do an update as things change frequently.

Sea World theme park is somewhere you can go back to again and again.

Sea World is always changing with new attractions and shows. They work hard to keep it fresh and appealing.

There's always:

• another story to tell
• another photo to take
• a new ride to try
• new attraction to see

For example the photo above was taken from the Sea World Eye during its brief stay at Sea World Gold Coast. It was a great opportunity to see the park and Main Beach in the background from a different angle.

With our Sea World Annual Passes we flit in and out as a family quite frequently. Picking and choosing what to see and do each time.

When my youngest daugter was 6 she just loved going to Sea World and would go there every day if she could, just to ride the carousel, see the Sesame Street Show and do the kids rides! In fact, she still loves it at 10, but a few different things now to keep her excited and Sesame Street has been replaced by Sponge Bob and Dora the Explorer

However, my older daughter enjoyed it more with a friend to go on the rides with. She loved the rollercoaster and the pirate ship, though that has been replaced now and Jet Ski Rescue is now a firm favourite of the thrill seekers in the family!

Sometimes she complains and would rather go to Movie World or Dreamworld for the big thrill rides!

I have noticed that Sea World have figured that out and they are upgrading their rides to put a bit more thrill in them for the older kids and adults. As I said, it is always changing and that is a good thing.

It's one of those places that you'll either love or hate!

Sea World is great for families especially those with smaller children.

There is a good mix of interesting and unusual animals, entertaining shows, optional tours and animal encounters and fairly tame rides.  

In the summer the small water park is an added bonus on hot days to refresh yourself and cool down the kids!

Sea World Packages

Sometimes Sea World Gold Coast Resort offers special packages which combines Sea World accommodation with theme park tickets or passes.

There are usually several options available or you can just book accommodation at Sea World Resort.
