Broadbeach is usually pitched as the the eating capital of the Gold Coast! It certainly has a good share of great restaurants, especially around Queensland Avenue and Australia Avenue.

That doesn't automatically mean that everywhere in Broadbeach is great and it also doesn't mean that the good restaurants are only in Broadbeach. I have found gems in most parts of the Gold Coast, you just have to look and try!

Cold Rock Ice Creamery
If you have never been to a Cold Rock.... you haven't lived! Cold Rock are famous for their mix-ins and their cold slabs or cold stones I think it might be called overseas.

You choose the ice cream, choose the mix-in and they smash it all together on their cold slab. The combinations are only limited by your imagination and good taste!

Cold Rock in Broadbeach is in Australia Avenue, under the Phoenician Resort. You can also find Cold Rock's at Helensvale, Palm Beach, Coolangatta, Surfers Paradise, Varsity Lakes and Burleigh Heads.
