Hope Island IS Gold Coast Lifestyle!

Hope Island (HI) is at the northern end of Australia’s Gold Coast.  Right next door to the prestigious Sanctuary Cove.

It is an area still very much “under development”, but is certainly taking shape.  

The area was originally sugar cane farms and is being transformed into luxury residential and holiday accommodation in secure gated communities that are based around canals, the Coomera River and resort style golf course.

Hope Island Resort (HIR) comprises of several large exclusive residential communities based around the marina waterways and golf courses.

Apartments are modern with airconditioning and luxury fixtures and fittings.

Marina Quays International

Marina Quays International - formerly Chancellor Resort Hope Harbour, 4 star hotel situated on Hope Harbour Marina.  Hotel style rooms and suites.

Facilities include resort pool, gymnasium, sauna, spa, tennis court, The Pier Restaurant and a bar.

This is a functional hotel, but you will need a car if you stay here as it is away even from the main resort and other local facilities.

Villa Casablanca Resort Villas

Villa Casablanca Resort Villas - self rated 4½ star villas with 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms.  HIR Golf Course surrounds the enclave on 3 sides.

Transport of some kind is essential from here if you want to access Hope Island Marina and Shopping Village either a car or buggy!

Golf Information

Hope Island Resort Golf Course

This golf course is the only links style golf course on the Gold Coast. A 6,500m Par 72 from the Championship tees.

It is an interesting course set around the residential Hope Island Resort.

There is an aquatic driving range, chipping and putting greens, golf shop and golf academy. Green fees include motorized buggy. The carts have GPS too!

This course is a soft spike only course – so remember to pack your soft spikes!

After the game you can enjoy the clubhouse facilities including restuarant and bar.

Beach Information

Hope Island has no beaches. There is a small river beach at Santa Barbara.

Closest beach on the Broadwater is Paradise Point.  At Paradise Point there is a swimming enclosure for safe swimming in the Broadwater.  Also a great café strip with some excellent little gourmet deli's and cafés.

Best beach by boat would be the pristine beaches at South Stradbroke Island – usually you have them all to yourself!

Broadwater beaches at Paradise Point, Labrador or Southport are within about 20 to 25 minutes drive.

Drive to Main Beach for some ocean beach and surf fun. Main Beach is the closest ocean beach and will take about 30 to 35 minutes by car.

Approximate travel times by motor vehicle - please note travel times can be affected by many factors including traffic hazards and roadworks. These are just an indication.
