Where can I buy VIP Pass?

Can I purchase VIP Pass at any of the 3 Gold Coast theme parks?

Can I buy VIP Theme Park Pass at any of the 3 theme parks?

Yes, you can buy Theme Park Passes for the Gold Coast theme parks Sea World, Wet n Wild and MovieWorld at any of their entrances or gates. However, you will generally pay extra. The theme parks usually charge around $10 extra on top of the online prices when you purchase at the gate. This is new since July 2011.



Because of these extra charges it makes sense to buy your passes online.

The other advantage of purchasing online is that you can download the Season Pass Agreement and fill in all the details ahead of time and then take your vouchers, agreement and id (passport for overseas visitors) to the ticket office when you arrive at any of the three parks.

This will save you quite a bit of time as well as locking in the exchange rate for overseas guests.

To purchase online (see the link below to buy with no booking fees), go through the booking process and print off your vouchers and agreement.

You can do that in the comfort of your own home before you arrive in Australia, so it is all ready to go.

Can I go to all 3 parks on the same day?

To answer your second question, with a VIP Pass yes you can, but you cannot go into the same park twice. I may not have said that quite right so below are a couple of relevant Terms and Conditions for the passes that you might find useful. Please note that VIP Passes are promotional passes that are not always available for sale.

VIP Pass Terms and Conditions (just a couple, please check the booking website for full terms and conditions)

• VIP Pass entitles holder to entry to Warner Bros. Movie World, Sea World and Wet'n'Wild Water World from date of purchase usually until the next 30 June inclusive

BUT NOT:-

• to special events conducted outside advertised park trading hours; nor


• on Christmas Day and ANZAC Day.

Also, "On any valid day entry is permitted ONCE to each selected park. Any extensions or refunds as a result of limited visitation or suspension are not allowed".

Please watch the fine print, it does change from time to time, and not all passes have the same terms and conditions - be sure to check out the latest options and suggestions for theme park passes, tickets & combinations.

When you buy your passes online, it will save you a bit of time on the first day you go to get your pass at the first park you visit, after that you can go through the pre-paid ticket entry which is a real time saver!

From when you purchase to when you go to the first park you have up to 120 days, so you can buy ahead or a little closer to when you travel.

All prices are in AUD, so remember there will be a difference from your own currency depending upon the conversion rate when you buy your tickets.

There are no booking fees charged through my ticketing agent for the National VIP Passes so that is a saving even from booking it directly with the theme parks either online or by phone!
