Can visitors play at Surfers Paradise Golf Club?

Surfers Paradise can be seen from many golf courses around Gold Coast. Bbut there isn't a golf course in Surfers.

Where can I play golf in Surfers Paradise?

Although the Surfers Paradise Golf Club is named after Surfers, it is actually located in Clear Island Waters which is inland from Broadbeach! Visitors and groups are welcome but bookings are essential.

The closest golf course to Surfers Paradise is actually the private Southport Golf Club which has only limited access to visitors with an approved handicap.

Don't despair, there are several options for golfing within a 15 to 25 minute drive of Surfers Paradise. Whether you are looking for 9 holes, 18 holes, driving range, pro lessons or even analysis of your golf swing. You can find it all here on the Gold Coast.

Surfers Paradise Golf Tips

There are quite a few courses within a short drive from Surfers Paradise. Golf pros for lessons can be hired at many courses as well as pull buggies, club sets, motorised carts and even shoes.

Gold Coast golf resorts offer golf packages which include accommodation and various golfing options.

Most of the larger 18 hole courses offer motorised cart hire. Ranging in price from approximately $25 to $40, so don't forget to add that on to the cost for your round of golf.

Some private golf courses don't allow any unaccompanied visitors. However, it may be worth a call to the pro shop to find out if you can play, you never know unless you ask.
