I don't believe there is anything else like Sea World in Queensland.

This theme park caters for just about all tastes.  

Young or old, single or a family you will find something to enjoy at this theme park.

You will find a mix of attractions including rides, animal exhibits, animal adventures, shows and a water park (extra charge).

SeaWorld in Australia is smaller than its overseas cousins!

Most notably there are no orca whales but there are polar bears!

• Polar Bears, Sea World Dolphins, Sharks, Manta Rays, Seal Lions, Pelicans, Penguins and much more.

The park is owned by Village who also own Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet n Wild theme parks on the Gold Coast, which means if you plan to visit these other Gold Coast theme parks the most cost effective way is usually with passes, but it depends on what you want to see and do, and how many times you want to visit each park.

Ideas About Where To Stay

Sea World is on the Spit and is just north of the main part of Main Beach. It is about 4kms north of Surfers Paradise.  Southport and Labrador are within a 10 minute drive and Broadbeach takes just over 10 minutes by car.

The ultimate places to stay close by are:

• Sea World Resort - formerly known as Sea World Nara Resort.  This resort is located at the northern end of the theme park and is particularly suited to families.  It was renovated in early 2008 and now includes a fabulous water park for the use of guests.

• Palazzo Versace (6 star) - this is a truly opulent place to stay situated next door to Marina Mirage.

• Sheraton Mirage (5 star) - fabulous accommodation set in a brilliant location opposite Marina Mirage and a short trip to this theme park, Main Beach and Surfers Paradise.
