Gold Coast Weather Middle to End of February

We will be bringing relatives from UK in February to Gold Coast. What is the average temperature during February?

Is it as hot as Adelaide?

Carol Mills

Temperatures in February are on average between a low overnight of 20°C to highs of 28°C - we can however have extremes that run up to the 40°s, but they are not that common.

We can get late summer storms which can be quite intense and the humidity can build up through the day (sometimes even longer) and then the heat can seem really oppressive! However, after the storm comes through it is usually lovely!

I haven't ever been in Adelaide in summer, but I have been in Melbourne, so I think they might have similar weather. If that is the case, then I would say, you get higher temperatures but lower humidity than the Gold Coast. If you are not used to the humidity it can be quite tiring. I highly recommend airconditioned accommodation at this time of the year especially for overseas visitors who will not be used to these kinds of temperatures (especially coming from UK in February!).

I hope that answers your question, if you have any more please leave a comment below and I will try to help you out.

Have fun with your visitors, I always love showing our UK relatives our amazing country, it is one of my favourite things to do!

Cheers,
