Disappointed - Rides Not Working!
by K Driver
(Kingaroy Qld Australia)
Visited Sea World last week 7th June, with family from inter state, haven't been there for about 5 years.
Was a little diappointed that there were a number of rides not working and the ones that were, were not working to their best!
The whole place looks a little grubby and could do with a good over haul. For the price I don't think it was worth it, maybe when all rides aren't working the price should be reduced!
We won't be going back again and have told others that had intended to go not to. Sea World may need to pick their act up a little.

I can understand your disappointment and probably agree with you regarding reducing the prices if many of the rides are not working. Usually something is closed for one reason or another, so one or two closed at any one time is fairly standard.
Winter is a time when they do tend to close rides and upgrade, repair or refurbish the parks. So regardless of the park, you are bound to find some things not up to scratch at this time of the year.
They do tend to try to have everything ship shape for the big summer season and so the parks usually look a little tired at this time of the year.
I am sorry it has put you off. I think you can check on their website before you go what is closed and what is open, so perhaps that is the tip in future.
Personally, I don't see the rides at Sea World as the biggest and best feature, it is the animal attractions and shows, so for me I would be disappointed if they were closed. I hope you got to see the shows at least.
I understand that a number of the rides and attractions are closed on and off over the next few months. You can check with the Sea World before going, so you are not disappointed.
