Cheapest Deals For Families for Gold Coast Theme Parks

My family and some friends are going for a holiday to Gold Coast for 5 days during the Christmas holidays.

We want to go to the theme parks - Movie World, Sea World and Wet'n'Wild.

There will be 4 adults and 3 children and we wish to get the best price for our tickets or passes such as a 'family super pass'. Is there such a thing? And would it be for 2 adults 2 children?

We want to see all three theme parks, what is your suggestion?

Now to answer your specific question and make some suggestions for you...

The three theme parks (Sea World, Movie World and Wet n Wild) have combination passes offering great savings for visiting all three theme parks.

Unfortunately, there isn't a family deal, I suppose because the deals are pretty good as they stand saving on entry to the theme parks.

You don't mention how old the children are - for theme parks on the Gold Coast the general rule of thumb is that Children under 3 are free whilst a Children's ticket or pass covers from 3 years to 13 years inclusive.

The combination passes most likely to fit your combination of adults and children are either the VIP Pass or the Super Pass.

The VIP Pass is only offered for a limited time each year and is excellent value with unlimited entry to June 30.

The Super Pass is offered year round, but when the VIP Pass is on offer, you will generally find the VIP Pass is better value. The Super Pass offers unlimited entry to the three theme parks over a 28 day period. The price for these passes is usually the same for Adults and Children (3 to 13 years).

Dreamworld and WhiteWater World have a family pass option.
