Can I Visit Gold Coast Water Parks in June or July

Can I visit Gold Coast Water Parks in June or July?

I live in Bangkok and plan to visit GoldCoast with my family in June or July which is Australia wintertime.

I am not sure if my family will be able to enjoy the water rides in the cold weather.

I have heard that the water is heated in these parks but I want confirmation this is true.

This is a common question I get about the Gold Coast water parks in winter. We have two water theme parks on the Gold Coast, Wet n Wild and Whitewater World.

Although I have been to both water parks personally, I have only ever been to Wet n Wild in the winter so I can say for sure that their water is heated.

Wet n Wild also have seasonal hot springs, which are a personal favourite that are only available during the cooler months on the Gold Coast.

I have written in a bit more depth about this on this page where I was asked Is Water Heated In Gold Coast Water Parks in June?

You don't mention how old your family are, but I will say from my personal experience younger children may not last as long on the cooler days. When my youngest was below about 7 years old she felt the cold a lot more, but it depends upon the child.

You also need to take into account, that you will be coming from the warmth of a Bangkok summer month and so overall you will initially find our temperatures probably cooler than you are used to. It may take a couple of days to get used to our temperatures.

For a tip, I would suggest you chose a day to visit the water parks when it is sunny and warm (and we do get those days in our winter) and when there isn't too much wind. Those are the sorts of days I pick to go to the water theme parks myself.

Another thing to watch out for is that many of our special deals are only valid to 30 June each year (because that is our tax year!) so if you are visiting before 30 June it is worth checking out our latest deals for Gold Coast theme parks and locking in the prices before you come.

I hope that helps, leave any more questions or comments below. If you found this helpful, you can Like it, Tweet it and share on Facebook ;-) Thanks for spreading the word...

Cheers
